BACKPLATE AND WEBBING SYSTEMS - Stainless Steel (6 lb.), and Aluminum (2 lb.) are completely de-burred so that webbing, BCs, drysuits and other fabrics are not abraded. Each plate's shape is carefully engineered to conform to the contour of the OMS™ BC, thus minimizing abrasion to the inflated portion. Peripheral mounting holes facilitate equipment attachment, and center holes allow up / down positioning of the BC / Backplate. Specially stiffened 2" nylon webbing is utilized and incorporates either a single chest side release buckle or a side release buckle on each chest strap (New-optional). (4) chest and (2) waist area D-rings are standard. Optional one piece (new) or welded 45 and 90 degree Billy Rings ™ and comfort Neoprene shoulder pads are available.
