IQ™ HARNESS NEW! - The new IQ™ Pack incorporates the "soft/hard" concept (the optional backplate slides in behind the back pad), form fit, easy don/doff has been re-engineered to provide a more streamline appearance and fit. There are now (2) butt mounted D-Rings, (3) D-Rings per side, (1) adjustable D-Ring on each side of the harness chest area (additional optional D-Rings can be added) and (2) D-Rings located at the oblique (waist) area. Additionally, an optional single cylinder Cam Band system (shown on right) has been integrated into the back of the IQ™ allowing for very lightweight travel. The unit can be dived in its stock configuration or any of the following options can be added: No Sag™ Pocket BCA-407, BCA 143 Small Mask Pouch, BCA 257 large zippered pocket, the BCA 266 Utility pouch, or cummerbund (BCA-CBD). BACKPLATE AND WEBBING SYSTEMS - Stainless Steel (6 lb.), and Aluminum (2 lb.) are completely de-burred so that webbing, BCs, drysuits and other fabrics are not abraded. Each plate's shape is carefully engineered to conform to the contour of the OMS™ BC, thus minimizing abrasion to the inflated portion. Peripheral mounting holes facilitate equipment attachment, and center holes allow up / down positioning of the BC / Backplate. Specially stiffened 2" nylon webbing is utilized and incorporates either a single chest side release buckle or a side release buckle on each chest strap (New-optional). (4) chest and (2) waist area D-rings are standard. Optional one piece (new) or welded 45 and 90 degree Billy Rings ™ and comfort Neoprene shoulder pads are available. Superior Doubles Stability: OMS™ eliminates inferior adapter plates by allowing you to bolt your OMS™ BC/backplate harness system directly to your doubles for superior stability. Superior Single Tank Stability: OMS™ uses super stable stainless steel single tank adapter that rigidly bolts to your hardplate or the new cam band system integrated into the new IQ pack. Backplate Stacking: OMS™ stainless steel backplates (6 lbs.) can be stacked for additional weight and increased streamlining.
